Kimchi Udon Noodles

Chewy udon noodles stir-fried with tangy kimchi, onion, gochujang, soy sauce, and toasted sesame oil.

Instructions

  1. Step 1

    Whisk the gochujang, soy sauce, kimchi brine, sugar, and water together until smooth. Set the sauce aside.

    Ingredients used: 45.0 gr Gochujang, 60.0 ml Kimchi Brine, 30.0 ml Soy Sauce, 8.0 gr Sugar, 120.0 ml Water

  2. Step 2

    Bring a saucepan of water to a boil. Loosen the udon in the boiling water until just tender, then drain thoroughly.

    Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and the white parts of the green onion, then cook until softened.

  4. Step 4

    Add the garlic and stir until fragrant.

  5. Step 5

    Add the kimchi and cook over medium heat until softened and lightly caramelized at the edges.

    Pour in the prepared sauce and simmer over medium heat until slightly thickened.
